Harrisburg, PA, August 24, 2007 - On-Q/Legrand, the leader in home systems, announced today the launch of its new
consolidated line of residential enclosures for structured wiring systems.
The revamped enclosure series combines the best features from previous lines
created by On-Q/Legrand, Greyfox, and Pass & Seymour/Legrand, resulting
in a best-in-class enclosure offering.
By simplifying the enclosure line, On-Q is streamlining the selection, ordering,
and stocking process. The line includes 14-inch, 20-inch, 28-inch and
42-inch sizes, which meet the needs of different housing applications. All
of the enclosures provide universal compatibility as well as enhanced features,
including:
- Flexible mounting tabs for side or front mounting
- Screw-on cover for temporary hanging
- Larger top cable openings for increased cable capacity
- Two J box knock-outs for up to four outlets
- Additional knock-outs for easier cable access
- Additional side lances for improved wire management
- Ground lugs for power surge protection
The 28” and 42” enclosures also include optional enhancements,
such as enclosure extenders, additional knock-outs for easier cable access,
clear and smoke glass doors, and extender wire managers.
