This new intercom plugs into any RJ45 outlet that is home run back to the enclosure and can be moved from room to room as needed. This means you can temporarily place the desktop intercom in one location - on a nightstand, for example - and then move it to another place as needed. The desktop unit also offers a great retrofit opportunity for customers that already have an On-Q Intercom System installed but would like additional units in the home.

Designed for home office or bedside applications, desktop intercoms provide wall unit functionality, but they're housed in a durable plastic casing to sit on surfaces. Rubber grips on the bottom of the units prevent them from sliding around on a surface when in use.
