Harrisburg, PA, January 5, 2006 - On-Q/Legrand, the connected home market leader, announced a new name for its
award-winning line of Cat 5 Intercoms — inQuire Intercoms. Renaming the
Intercoms is part of On-Q's overall strategy to position the product line for
increased consumer-brand recognition and continued growth.
In fact, On-Q has already announced a new addition to its expanding family
of Cat 5-based inQuire Intercoms - a free-standing desktop intercom. The inQuire
Desktop Intercoms (F9018-XX) provide wall unit functionality, but they're
housed in a durable plastic casing to sit on surfaces.
The inQuire Intercom System is one of three major product lines to be re-branded
with a new name in the past four months. Previously, On-Q announced the re-branding
of its Cat 5 audio system to lyriQ™ Audio System and its speakers to
evōQ™ Series Speakers.
