On-Q's Selective Call Intercom System was awarded a CustomRetailer EXC!TE Award during the annual ceremony held at CEDIA Expo in Denver, CO. CustomRetailer's EXC!TE Awards recognize products for their outstanding design, engineering, innovation and market presence. The awards are determined by the overall custom electronics community, including custom retailers, installers and integrators, in addition to the CustomRetailer staff.

Competing against a record-setting 110 entries, this is the fifth year that On-Q/Legrand has won an Innovative Housing Technology Award. The Selective Call Intercom System won in the Networking category while the lyriQ High Performance Audio System won in the Multi-Room Audio/Video category.

On-Q was named Technology Company of the Year at the 2008 Technology Council Awards. In their 16th year, the awards are designed to showcase companies within the central Pa. region who have demonstrated excellence in making technology work for the betterment of the company and the industry as a whole.

This is the first time On-Q has won a Multi-Room Audio Video Award. Presented at EHX Fall, the MRAVs recognize significant contributions to the multi-room audio and video markets.

This is the second year that On-Q/Legrand has won an OTTO award for our Builder Program. Presented by EH Publishing, the OTTOs recognize suppliers and tech integrators who are helping builders sell home technology.

This is the fourth year that On-Q/Legrand has won an Innovative Housing Technology Award.  The awards, presented by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and TecHome Builder magazine, were held at the International Builders' Show in February.  Now in their seventh year, the IHTAs recognize significant advances and best practices by product manufacturers, integrators, and builders in technology development for, and implementation by, the housing industry.

Standard Ethernet cabling is used to distribute intercom calls and pages throughout the house. It's small size (no bigger than a standard wallplate) and contemporary design ensures that it will blend well with any decor. Because it uses Ethernet cabling, the system can be installed quicker, easier and more affordably than other types of intercom systems. Communication between stations is hands-free. The main unit has LED lights to show which room is paging or is on mute.

The Wireless Access Point was selected as the overall Highest-Impact Home Tech Product from 28 finalists nominated by readers of the publication. Readers were asked to nominate products they felt made the greatest impact, either financially by saving time and money, or operationally by helping to guide the company to a new level of service.
